January 2005 : The first Rigolo Comme La Vie centre was opened
As part of their company development, OKAÏDI needed to purchase a warehouse in Roubaix. There was a guard house that was in very poor condition adjacent to this warehouse.  The idea of creating a crèche came up while we were studying what we could do with this guard house. Less than one year later, the first Rigolo Comme La Vie day nursery opened its doors to 16 children – 6 children from members of staff and 10 children from local families. 


April 2006 : The first Rigolo Comme La Vie leisure centre was opened in Roubaix
The opportunity for this project was seized when a social centre closed down. We decided to take over the part for young children, which included a day nursery and recreation centre, in order to provide the same services to parents. The recreation centre opened its doors to 40 children and provides numerous activities during the school holidays and on Wednesdays (a day when children do not go to school in France). 


September 2006: Opening of a second Rigolo Comme La Vie day nursery
4 months of works and refurbishment were required before opening the second Rigolo Comme La Vie day nursery, located in the South of Roubaix.
